Ty-Meer (Ty) Brown, a native of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was a two-sport high school student-athlete who went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut on a football scholarship before receiving his Master's Degree in Sport Administration from Boston College
Heading into UConn, Ty-Meer hoped to become a professional football player in the NFL and set out to make this dream a reality. As a freshman, Ty earned all-conference honors and became the Big East Freshman of the year due to his productivity on the playing field and helping lead the Huskies to a top-10 defense in the Nation. After a couple more great season, Ty suffered a neck injury that would need surgically repaired which ultimately ended his playing career.
As a huge advocate for student-athletes, Ty began his journey of teaching and inspiring young athletes to channel their inner greatness on and off the playing field. Ty had the opportunity to work at McKeesport High School, The University of Michigan, Boston College, and West Virginia University's athletic departments, and currently serves as the Director of Athletics, Activities, and Sponsorships in the Woodland Hills School District.
